Centre for Socio-economic and Environmental Studies (CSES), Kochi submitted its suggestions to the Honorable Mayor of Kochi Municipal Corporation for making urban governance and service delivery in Kochi people friendly and inclusive. CSES has tried to give suggestions in areas where it has developed some expertise through previous studies on local governance and service delivery. CSES calls for a “Service Delivery Policy” which ensures accountability and transparency in the services delivered by the Corporation and the transferred institutions which are managed by the Corporation. A copy of the document was submitted to the Mayor by the Director of CSES Dr. N. Ajith Kumar.
