We extend our invitation to the Professor K. K. George Memorial Lecture 2025, to be held at the Seminar Complex, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), on November 20, 2025, at 10:30 AM.
Professor (Dr.) K. K. George was an outstanding economist deeply interested in public finance, welfare and development economics. He has done commendable work on centre-state relations and contributed immensely to debates on Kerala’s development. Professor George retired as the Director of the School of Management Studies at CUSAT. He was also the Founding Chairperson of CSES.
As a tribute to his contribution to academics and policy formulation, the memorial lecture is organised jointly by CSES and School of Management Studies, CUSAT.
Ms. Sarada Muraleedharan, Former Chief Secretary, Government of Kerala, will deliver the lecture on the topic Decentralised Governance and Climate Resilience.
