Prof.(Dr.) K. K. George Memorial Oration on the theme, “Centre State Financial Relations in India” was held on 20th September, 2022 at the Convergence Academia Centre, Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Kottayam. The programme was organised jointly by KN Raj School of Economics, MGU, Kottayam, and Centre for Socio-economic and Environmental Studies. The event was inaugurated and presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Sabu Thomas, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, MGU, Two sessions were held. Prof. (Dr.) M.K. Sukumaran Nair, Honorary Director, Centre for Budget Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) delivered the lecture in the first session. The lecture in the second session was delivered by Dr Rajan Varghese, Member Secretary, Kerala State Higher Education Council.
