Formerly Senior Professor & Head, Department of Futures Studies, University of Kerala. He also served as the Director of School of Technology, University of Kerala. He has developed research collaborations with University of Louisville, Kentucky, USA, University of Leipzig, Germany, Econometric Institute, Erasumus University, Rotterdam, Maribor Research Group on Discrete Mathematics, Slovenia. He was the Principal Investigator/Project Coordinator of 7 research projects funded by DST/UGC/AICTE/ DAE/NBHM. Published 56 research papers in refereed journals most of which are international journals. Published an edited volume and 9 book chapters. Presentations in 42 national and international conferences/seminars. He is a member of the American Mathematical Society, Academy of Discrete Mathematics and Applications and the Association for Computer Science and Discrete Mathematics. Supervised 14 candidates for Ph.D, 60 candidates for M.Phil. and 70 candidates for M.Tech. He is also a reviewer of various international journals
