The second talk in the series was held on 28th March 2022. Dr. Sreedevi R. S, who completed her doctoral studies from TISS Mumbai, discussed her research findings on “Exploring the Employment and Social Wellbeing of the Inter-State Migrants: A Study on the Construction Sector in Kerala”.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dr Sreedevi R.S. has a Masters degree in Economics from Stella Maris College, Chennai. She completed her PhD in Development Studies, from TISS Mumbai. Her doctoral research focuses on the employment and social well-being of inter-state migrants in the construction sector in Kerala. Her research interests include migration, development, health and public policy.
