CSES Action works directly with local communities, local governments, and partner institutions to plan and implement practical solutions. It combines field experience with technical knowledge to design interventions that are realistic and sustainable.

Clean Canal Initiative
CSES Action intends to work with local communities along the Periyar Valley Irrigation Project canal to reduce waste dumping and improve water quality.
Activities include:
Identification of waste dumping points
Community meetings
School programmes
Volunteer activities
Awareness materials
Surveillance
Monitoring of changes
The project will be implemented in phases along the canal.
