Call for Research Associate/Research Assistant
Centre for Socio-economic and Environmental Studies (CSES), Kochi <www.csesindia.org> is seeking applications from highly motivated individuals for Research Associate/Research Assistant positions in existing projects. The ideal candidate should have a post-graduation in Economics/Sociology/Development Studies/Gender with a flair for research. In addition, candidates should have completed an MPhil/PhD for the post of Research Associate. Both Research Associate/Research Assistant are full-time posts at the Kochi office. The appointment will be on a contract basis, with the possibility of renewal depending on the candidate’s performance.
The candidate should have excellent writing skills and be capable of working independently and as part of a research team. We particularly welcome candidates who are comfortable with data analysis and have prior research experience. We are particularly interested in hiring candidates who have research interests on themes related to international migration, student migration, gender studies, informal employment and development studies.
