Professor Abhijit Sen, Member, Planning Commission delivered I.S. Gulati Memorial Lecture-2006, on June 10, 2006 at Thiruvananthapuram. The topic of the lecture was “Some Challenges in Plan Financing Today”. Dr.Thomas Issac, Finance Minister, Government of Kerala made a remembrance speech on the occasion. On the occasion of the lecture, a booklet was published titled ‘Behind the Coir Curtain: Kerala in 1957 through the Eyes of Professor I.S.Gulati’.
