Professor A.Vaidyanthan, who is a former Member of the Planning Commission, Government of India, delivered the Professor I.S.Gulati Memorial Lecture-2007, on August 2, 2007 at Thiruvananthapuram. The lecture was the third in the Series organized by CSES in memory of Professor I.S.Gulati. The lecture was on “Decentralisation and Community Action”. The session was chaired by Shri. Paloli Muhammedkutty, Minister for Local Self Governments, Kerala.
