District Perspective Plan under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA)
In 2008, the Centre was entrusted with the task of preparing the Five-year Perspective Plans for Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) in the districts of Alappuzha and Ernakulam by the Department of Rural Development, Government of Kerala.
DPR Preparation under the Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP)
The Centre has provided Technical Support to Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP) in ten IWMP projects in different blocks in the districts of Palakkad, Ernakulam, Alappuzha and Malapuuram in Kerala. The support included community mobilsation, participatory rural appraisal (PRA), formation of user groups and SHGs, suggesting suitable watershed development interventions, taking work estimates for engineering structures, preparation of Detailed Project Report (DPR) and detailed action plan. Creating sustainability structures for safe drinking water sources is a major thrust area under IWMP.
Need Assessment and Preparation of DPR for Thadheshamithram
Under the aegis of the Kerala Local Government Service Delivery Project, the Centre was entrusted with the Need Assessment and the Preparation of DPR for Thadhessa Mithram in Kothamangalam Municipality, Adimaly and Mankulam Grama Panchayats in 2016.
